if you'll ever know

what a difference you've made in my life.

I guess I could have made it on my own

if I'd never met you,

but it woud've been

like stumbling through the night,

never really knowing

where I was headed

or which way to turn.

But then you came along....

you took me by the hand

and showed me where to walk...

You brought light to my path

and gave me confidence...

You helped me to love.

No one has ever given me

a greater gift..

Butterfly

One day I chanced upon a lonely cocoon
I held it gently
and gazed upon its plainness.

Was it not one of God's creatures?
Does it not then need love?

I touched it quietly, softly with my love
from the cocoon came...
the most beautiful butterfly
my reward for loving and believing.
