Dream
The midnight sky falls and my eyes close
as the stars dance,
the mist clears from my dream
and I see you
I see you holding me, walking with me
the water splashes against the sand
and we're both relieved by the warmth of the water
and look out above the waves
and see two dolphins.
Love is in the air and we have breathe in
too much
we can't help ourselves as we're pulled
together by love's force
We fall into each other and hold on tight
so when the morning light comes
we can't be pulled apart
You kiss me and I fall deeper into your love
then the sun rises and my eyes opened
and a smile lies across my face
And I replay the dream through the day
while I wait to imagine another dream
....that someday will be reality.
